Terewai & Hemi {Hamilton Engagements}

We were supposed to meet at a Cafe on a saturday, I was almost there when I received a text.."uumm we're at the cafe..its closed on saturdays" Nooooooo --thats me, and that was not a good first impression to make, especially when I had promised the most delicious hot chocolates money can buy.

A quick relocation to the cafe by the lake and our first meeting as Photographer + Bride + Groom was good to go. We didn't get to taste heaven in a hot chocolate, but I finally got to meet Terewai + Hemi who are chill, happy and in Love, so its ok.

I will have the pleasure of photographing Terewai + Hemi's wedding in December and I CANNOT wait!!! In the mean time, here is a sneak peak of their engagement session from earlier this month.

p.s if you would like to taste some of the most delicious hot chocolates EVER (in my opinion of course), Cafe Agora in Frankton will take good care of you, just make sure to let me know so I can come with you :D

The Cutest Babies {Studio + Outside Portraits}

This year I branched out into portraits, and my awesome job just keeps getting better. I now get to photograph some of the cutest kids in the world!! Don't believe me? Have a look for yourself :D

I have the best job right? And the coolest thing is that this is a SMALL selection of the GORGEOUS kids I have been hanging out with this year!! There just is not enough blog space for all their cuteness.

Crystal & Brian {Windy Ridge Wedding}

As well as having my own photography business, I am lucky to work for an amazing Waikato based Photography Company ‘where the heart is photography --check out some of our work here-- Crystal and Brian won their wedding at the Windy Ridge Wedding Expo. ‘Where the heart is’ supplied the photography and Brooke and I worked together to capture the festivities.

Friday morning presented itself with classic Waikato weather. Rain, Sun, rain again, then some more sun. Not too bad since we were in a storm the size of Australia.

Crystal and Brian have two beautiful children, Jacob who is 2 years old and baby Chelsea who was born a couple of weeks before the Wedding. Thats right, Crystal looks this great less then a month after giving birth!!.. Crystal how do you do it?... I hope I look as good as you after I have kids...*fingers crossed*

The lovely team at Windy Ridge in Ohaupo provided the venue and plenty of help/advice for our happy couple. It was raining on and off before the ceremony, so they quickly moved everything inside and nothing missed a beat...

We headed into Hamilton for photo's and although it was cold, the "massive storm" held its rain till we were in the cars and ready to leave :D

The clouds provided Glorious soft light, and we were even blessed with sunshine in time for sun-flare photos--I love it!!-- And one last photo to close a perfect day...
